MY SIMPLY TOP is a cropped, simple summer top with a boatneck, A-line shaping and added width across the back to create a little soft drape. The top is worked in garter stitch all the way to the edges.
MY SIMPLY TOP is knitted from the top down. The front yoke is worked back and forth with short rows across the chest for a better fit. The stitches for the back are knitted up from the cast-on edge and worked back and forth in stockinette before increases are made and the back yoke is continued in garter stitch. The top is joined under the armholes and work in garter stitch in the round using short rows. The back is made a little longer using short rows to create a little curve before binding off.
