Here you’ll find an overview of our most frequently asked questions. If you don’t find the answer you’re looking for, feel free to send an email to info@norgardknit.com.

Emails are answered as quickly as possible, but during especially busy periods, response times may be up to 5 business days.

How do I receive the pattern?
Once you’ve completed your purchase at Norgardknit, you will immediately receive an order confirmation after payment, followed by an email with link(s) to download the PDF pattern(s). Therefore, it’s very important that you provide the correct email address. Please also double-check that you’ve selected the language in which you want to receive the pattern. Patterns are not sent in physical form.

We recommend that you save the PDF file to your device so that you don’t have to download it multiple times.

If you don't receive the pattern after completing your payment, please check your spam folder before contacting us.

I can’t download my pattern (PDF file), what should I do?
If you’re unable to download or open your PDF file(s), try opening it in a different browser (e.g., Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or others), preferably from a computer rather than a phone or tablet. The issue is often related to your software system or firewall.

If the problem persists, please send an email to info@norgardknit.com, and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible during normal business hours.

I’m stuck, can I get help with the pattern?
If your question concerns general knitting techniques, we recommend searching for help on YouTube, where many helpful videos demonstrate common knitting techniques.

We have a few short videos with knitting tips under “Reels” on Instagram (@norgardknitters), and your local yarn shop is often a great source of support as well.

If you have a specific question about a pattern that you can’t find the answer to elsewhere, feel free to send an email to info@norgardknit.com, and we’ll respond as soon as possible during business hours.

If you manage to solve the issue yourself before receiving a reply, please let us know in the same email, as it is time-consuming to dive into each individual question.

Can I exchange my pattern for another language?
If you accidentally purchased the pattern in the wrong language, we’ll be happy to send it to you in the correct one. Just send us an email at info@norgardknit.com.

I think there’s a mistake in the pattern?
All our patterns are test-knitted and thoroughly proofread before translation. We use experienced translators for our patterns, but human mistakes can still occur in translations, charts, or calculations. Luckily, this is rare - but if you believe you’ve found a mistake, please send us an email at info@norgardknit.com so we can correct it. 

Difficulty levels in the patterns?
We don’t indicate difficulty levels in our patterns, as what one person finds challenging, another may not. Each product page includes a description of the process, which we hope will help indicate the level for individual knitters. The techniques used are described within the patterns themselves. There are no instructional videos for the patterns apart from a few knitting tips found on our Instagram @norgardknitters.
